Whitepeaks’ CopraSintec is a pre-sintered, porous cobalt-chromium (CoCr) disc designed for dry machining in a soft environment. This innovative material allows for the fabrication of metal dental prostheses with the ease of machining zirconia, before undergoing final sintering in an argon atmosphere to achieve its final mechanical properties.
CopraSintec is revolutionizing the fabrication of cobalt-chrome restorations. Unlike conventional hard metal discs, which require extremely robust machines and constant lubrication, CopraSintec is machined dry. Its soft consistency (similar to chalk or pre-sintered zirconia) drastically reduces wear on your milling tools stress on your spindles, while ensuring exceptional fit accuracy after sintering.
