Composed of nylon reinforced with carbon microfibers, this high-performance filament is UL94 V-0 certified, offering exceptional rigidity and heat resistance while meeting the most stringent fire safety standards. Onyx FR is designed for applications where mechanical performance must be combined with enhanced thermal safety. While retaining the matte black surface finish and dimensional accuracy that have made the standard Onyx so successful, the FR (Flame Retardant) version adds self-extinguishing properties.
