Intelligent software: Free PreForm software simplifies print preparation with powerful features like one-click optimization and automatic part placement to maximize output. The online Dashboard lets you remotely manage and monitor an entire fleet of printers.

The performance of Formlabs printers is based on patented technologies that push the limits of quality and speed.

LFS (LFS and LFD™): Low Force Stereolithography (LFS) and Low Force Display™ (LFD) technologies drastically reduce the forces exerted on parts during printing. The result: an incredibly smooth surface finish that rivals injection molding, unrivalled fine detail and supports that remove effortlessly. With the Form 4 and its LFD motor, most prints are completed in under two hours, a speed that radically transforms production cycles.
SLS: Selective laser sintering (SLS) technology, available with the Fuse series, enables the production of ultra-robust, functional nylon parts. Its main advantage is total design freedom: the unused powder serves as a natural support, enabling the creation of complex geometries, moving assemblies printed in a single pass, and parts ready for final use.
